Mortgage lending makes new record - 2003-11-21
MORTGAGE lending established another new record during October as the healthy market showed no sign of slowing down.

The Council of Mortgage Lenders said a total of £27.5bn was advanced during the month, 8pc higher than the previous high set in September, and nearly a third more than was lent in October 2002.
