Old National to set up retail branches - 2003-11-24
Old National Bancorp, based in Evansville, Ind., is expanding its operations in the St. Louis region with plans to set up retail bank branches in the St. Charles area.

Sean McManus, regional president of Old National, said the bank already has generated $40 million in commercial and mortgage loans in the region since it opened a loan production office in Chesterfield in January.

Bank's mortgage unit adopts Six Sigma - 2003-11-24
Once a process tool is originally incorporated in the world of manufacturing, Six Sigma is making inroads into the world of finance.

"It's a culture change," says Bob Vanderberry, senior vice president and Wichita consumer site manager for Bank of America's mortgage processing center at 901 George Washington Blvd. "It's the way we do business now."
