Freddie Mac Statrs Homeownership Effort for Low-Income Renters with Adams County Housing Authority, Bank of Hanover, Waypoint Bank, Housing Council of York - 2003-11-26
A special affordable housing program designed to give cash tight renters new financial muscle to become homeowners in the Gettysburg metro area was announced today by officials from the Adams County Housing Authority, the Housing Council of York, Bank of Hanover, Waypoint Bank, and Freddie Mac, one of the nation's largest mortgage investors.

The new initiative will enable Adams County renters to become homeowners by using their federal Housing Choice Voucher to make monthly mortgage payments and begin building personal wealth in the form of home equity.
