Home values show no indications of slowdown - 2003-11-29
Home values are climbing throughout the Portland area, jumping 9.5 percent in a year, according to the Realtors Multiple Listing Service.

RMLS reported that the region's average home sale price, now $222,200, and its median home sale price, $185,600, are both up 9.5 percent in the first 10 months of 2003 compared with the same period in 2002.

Residents flee troubled Trail Mobile Park - 2003-11-29
Josue Sanchez is not upset about being made to move out of Trail Motel and Mobile Home Park sometime within the next couple months.

Sanchez, 19, a native of Mexico, his four roommates and other residents of the 79 run-down trailers must leave, partly because of the park's past neglect and partly because of its future promise.
