Nexstar Financial inks deal with Thornburg Mortgage - 2003-03-10
Nexstar Financial Corp. has finalized an outsourcing deal to provide mortgage fulfillment services to Thornburg Mortgage. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Nexstar said it would provide dedicated services to borrowers in Thornburg's program designed for financial planners and their clients as well as corporate affinity partners.

New loan company creating 100 jobs - 2003-03-10
Former executives of AccuBanc Mortgage Corp. hope to duplicate the success of that Dallas-based company after acquiring the wholesale mortgage origination operations of Matrix Financial Services Corp. in Phoenix.

The Feb. 28 deal, worth from $8.2 million to $12.4 million depending on loan volume in the first 12 months after the acquisition, will mean about 100 new hires in Dallas for the newly-minted AmPro Mortgage Corp.
