January fails to chill hot home resales in region - 2003-03-05 The Orlando Regional Realtor Association declared single-family, existing home sales hit the second highest record for any January — despite a slight drop from last January, helped by low mortgage rates.
Realtors with the association sold 1,294 homes, generating $214 million in sales. That compares with 1,312 homes sold last year with a sales volume of $198 million. Read the full story at Orlando Business Journal |

Bankers give $10,000 to local Habitat - 2003-03-05 In an attempt to promote home ownership, the Independent Community Bankers of America donated $10,000 to Habitat for Humanity of Orlando Inc.
