BUYERS CASH IN ON REAL ESTATE BOOM - 2003-09-15
Eighty of the 101 flats for sale at the former Aggie Weston building in Devonport were liquidated after they went on the open market at the weekend. Estate agents making the sale said there was an 'incredible response' and now, coupled with advance sales, only 20 flats remain available.

Haart mortgage consultant Philip Williams said they had received 'a lot of enquiries' since the £5 million redevelopment project was given planning permission.

Habitat home completed - 2003-09-15
Nelly Ortega and her daughter, Debbie, were handed the keys to their new home Sunday, the sixth constructed by Habitat for Humanity in the Wisconsin Rapids area.

As part of the agreement with Habitat, Nelly was required to put in 500 "sweat hours" on the home herself - in addition to the two jobs she holds down. She also made the first mortgage payment during the presentation.
