Ten tips to get cash for your first home - 2004-01-11
First time buyers are still having difficulty entering the housing market, and with house prices set to increase further during 2004, their position continues to look bleak.

The forecast of house price increases varies considerably among the experts - from 5% at the bottom end of the scale to 14% at the top.

According to the latest monthly lending figures from the Council of Mortgage Lenders, first-time buyers accounted for only 26% of house purchase loans in November.
