Study places BB&T 2nd in nation for home-mortgage customer satisfaction - 2004-01-16
BB&T Corp. in Winston-Salem announced that it placed second in the nation in home-mortgage customer satisfaction in a recent J.D. Power and Associates study.

BB&T was the nation's highest-ranking bank in the 2004 Home Mortgage Study, which was based on responses from more than 11,900 home mortgage customers. J.D. Power is a marketing and information firm based in Westlake Village, Calif.

Low income homebuyers wanted - 2004-01-16
Housing Opportunities, Inc., which helps low-income families and individuals buying homes, is now accepting applications for a new home in Chesterton.

Qualifying families or individuals must qualify for a mortgage between $85,000 and $105,000, must be first-time homebuyers, and must complete homebuyer education classes provided by Housing Opportunities.
