Mobile home buyers have more protections - 2004-01-02
If your New Year's resolution includes purchasing a mobile home, now you can do so with some added assurance. That's because a number of new consumer protections went into effect New Year’s Day.

Among the changes, dealers must display information concerning warranties. If you lease for 20 years or longer you can now qualify for a conventional mortgage rate like a Freddie Mac.
