Irwin Financial posts profit increase of 30% in 2003 - 2004-01-24
Despite higher interest rates for consumer mortgage loans in the fourth quarter, Columbus-based Irwin Financial Corp. posted a 30 percent gain in net income for the year ending Dec. 31.

"Given the rise in interest rates in the fourth quarter, Irwin Financial posted solid results," said Will Miller, chairman and chief executive officer, in a statement.
