Buyers fall behind on mortgages, fail to keep homes - 2004-01-26
As trucks rolled along and chilly winds swept by, five men stood downtown at Fifth Avenue and Broadway last week carrying hopes of finding a good real estate investment in foreclosed properties.

Nashville isn't alone in seeing foreclosures rise in recent years. The increase is another sign of credit woes that also show up in mortgage delinquencies and rising bankruptcies.
