Mortgage Industry Veteran Barry P. Epstein Joins American Business Financial Services - 2004-01-06
American Business Financial Services, Inc. today disclosed today that Barry P. Epstein has joined the Company in the newly created position of Managing Director of Wholesale Lending. Epstein will be responsible for guiding the Company's expanding broker origination efforts, including those of ABFS' subsidiary, American Business Mortgage Services.

Epstein comes to ABFS with more than 13 years of leadership experience in building wholesale mortgage divisions, most recently as a principal of Rekaren, Inc

LSB Expands in Guilford County New Office to Operate in Jamestown in Spring - 2004-01-06
LSB The Bank is establishing an office in Jamestown. LSB, North Carolina's 10th largest bank, has agreed to acquire a building at 120 E. Main Street in Jamestown's business district.

LSB will offer investments, trusts and mortgage loans in addition to traditional banking services in Jamestown. "We will begin as a full service office, because of the projected demand for a variety of products," said Robert E. Lineback, Jr., senior vice president and Guilford County executive.
