FHA bumps up mortgage insurance limits - 2004-01-06
As part of an annual loan adjustment, the Federal Housing Administration has bumped up its single-family mortgage insurance limit by 3.4 percent in the Roanoke area.

The increase that took effect New Year's Day insures mortgages on a single-family home of up to $160,176, up from $154,896 in 2003. The FHA mortgage limit for two-family homes has been raised from $198,228 to $205,032; on three-family homes from $239,664 to $247,824; and on four-family homes from $297,840 to $307,992.

Turner should help rein in mortgage lenders - 2004-01-06
