How are home prices in your neighborhood? - 2004-02-15
Home prices are still climbing in most large cities across the country, but the rate of price growth is slowing down, according to the latest quarterly survey by the National Association of Realtors.

"In the third quarter the median price was 10.0 percent above a year earlier, the strongest rate of appreciation since the fourth quarter of 1980, helped by historically low mortgage rates" David Lereah, NAR's chief economist, said.
