New county housing plan puts homes in reach of the disabled - 2004-02-16
Shauna Schaeffer, a single disabled mother of three, never expected to have her own home. But thanks to Boise City/Ada County Housing Authority, she is the first Idahoan to acquire a residence under the agency´s Housing Choice Voucher Homeownership Option.

The Housing Authority will subsidize the mortgage and Schaeffer will pay her portion, based on income.

Tool Adjusts Mortgage Lending Playing Field Between Credit Unions and Nationwide Mega-Lenders - 2004-02-16
Aimbridge Home Loans, a division of the Aimbridge Group and a full-service mortgage provider for credit unions and their members, unveiled its new Point of Sale Automated Underwriting Decisioning tool.

The application, which is integrated into the co-branded or private labeled Web sites that Aimbridge provides for its clients, allows credit union members to electronically receive application approval within minutes.
