United Financial Mortgage Corp. Enters Title Insurance Market - 2004-02-17
United Financial Mortgage Corp. declared today that they have entered into a joint venture with Troon Management Corp. to set up a newly formed title insurance agency, First Family Title, LLC.

At this time, First Family Title will only be offering its services in Illinois. Both the Company and Troon are excited about the prospects of expanding this business line into other states where UFM currently has branch offices.

Gay rights proponents got victories in the conservative-leaning House of Delegates on measures regarding access to health insurance and home mortgage loans.

It rejected a measure seeking to make state mortgage loans available only to married heterosexuals or blood relatives.
