Kiwibank In Reach mortgage loans More People Eligible - 2004-02-29
More people will be eligible for a Kiwibank In Reach home loan due to changes of eligibility criteria, Housing Minister Steve Maharey said today.

Kiwibank In Reach is a two-year mortgage insurance trial, in partnership with Housing New Zealand Corporation, to make access to home ownership easier for low to modest income earners.

Reno mortgage foreclosures surge 27 percent in 2003 - 2004-02-29
A 27 percent surge in mortgage foreclosures in Reno County last year wasn't due just to a struggling economy, according to local financial professionals.

Residential mortgage foreclosures peaked at 242 in 2003, a 27 percent jump over both 2002 and 2001, when 176 mortgage foreclosures were filed each year in Reno County district court.
