Buy-to-let hits first-time buyers - 2004-03-10
Buy-to let house acquisitions will outnumber those by first-time buyers this year as young people are priced out of the market, a report declared.

A buy-to-let collapse would combine with rising interest rates, tighter lending criteria from banks and building societies and tougher regulation of the mortgage market to precipitate a fall in house prices.
