R.I. Housing Increases Limits For Low-Income Homebuyers - 2004-03-16
Real estate agent Tom Piantadosi could have more possible buyers for homes similar to one he's displaying in Cumberland that is listed at just under $300,000.

News Channel 10's Brian Crandall reported that similarly priced homes are now available to homebuyers who qualify for low-interest loans through the Rhode Island Housing and Mortgage Finance Corp.

Skeptics detests being proved wrong. But the doubters about Dubai property are already looking a bit silly. Nowhere is there any evidence of discounting. Prices are climbing skyward in all locations, though some are doing better than others.

Competition among lenders will bring the cost of borrowing down – still a bit high at 6.5% for a floating rate local mortgage – and again put upward pressure on house prices.
