Local builder partners with Charter One Mortgage - 2004-03-02
Dayton-based Charles Simms Development has formed a joint venture, partnering with Charter One Mortgage Corp. to provide mortgage financing for Simms-built homes.

The venture is named Charter One Mortgage of Dayton LLC. Greg Patton, a Charter One vice president will manage the venture and Kevin Watts will originate the loans.

CVAG’s mortgage assistance program endorsed by city - 2004-03-02
Palm Desert has become the second city to get on board to support a mortgage assistance program for first-time, moderate-income homebuyers organized by the Coachella Valley Association of Governments.

But the program’s future is still precarious because CVAG has to convince other valley cities to join, too.
