Publisher settles suit over fake mortgage spam - 2004-03-24
HSH Associates, the Pompton Plains-based financial publishing firm, has settled a lawsuit it launched against a mortgage broker who sent unsolicited bulk e-mail, or "spam," over the Internet under HSH's "bestrates.com" trademark.

HSH sued under North Carolina's anti-spam law against Carolina Home Mortgage Services of Cary, N.C., for sending spam e-mail with a forged header to make it appear as if the e-mail originated from one of HSH's domains.

Datakey, Inc., one of the top provider of information security software products that simplify and secure access to corporate information systems, today declared that Bausparkasse Schwaebisch Hall has purchased Datakey client software and smartcards for their employees.
