The American Dream needs mortgage reform - 2004-03-25
Residing in one of the nation's most expensive housing markets, many Coloradans might have welcomed reforms making it simpler and less costly to acquire a new home or refinance an existing mortgage.

Earlier this week, Republican members of Congress shot down a proposal by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development to reform disclosure rules in the Real Estate Settlement Procedure Act.
