BofA's Shannon joins mortgage giant Fannie Mae council - 2004-03-30
Kevin Shannon, president of consumer real estate at Charlotte-based Bank of America Corp., is with the 24 new members of the national advisory council of Fannie Mae.

Fannie Mae is the nation's largest source of financing for home mortgages. Council members meet three times a year with Fannie Mae's senior management to offer advice on housing and mortgage-finance issues and the expansion of homeownership opportunities.

Homebuyers Enjoy Drop in Mortgage Interest Rates - 2004-03-30
Home buyers, who were told to expect higher mortgage rates this year, are instead enjoying a decrease in interest rates.
