Hawaii mortgage rates inch upward - 2004-03-05
Mortgage rates in Hawaii, which dropped to 5.25 percent in the last week of January, have started to display some sign of upward pressure, based on weekly quotes provided by lenders to the Honolulu Board of Realtors.

Bank of Hawaii and City Bank held their 30-year fixed-rate mortgages at 5.25 percent this week, but First Hawaiian, American Savings Bank and Central Pacific Bank raised their rates to 5.375 percent.

Leesport Helps Seniors With Reverse Mortgage - 2004-03-05
Leesport Bank, a subsidiary of Leesport Financial Corp., revealed it has become the first bank
