Bankruptcy worries over interest threat - 2004-03-08
Interest rates have been set at four per cent for another month but experts are warning that any further hike could condemn thousands of homeowners to bankruptcy.

One in three Britons in debt fear they might not be able to make their mortgage repayments in the next three months, said CPP's Shirley Woolham.

American Equity Mortgage appoints Davis CFO - 2004-03-08
Terry Davis has been appointed chief financial officer for American Equity Mortgage.

Davis, a certified public accountant, joined the company as corporate controller in 1998. He was previously controller for Aurora Foods, and worked for Kellwood Co. and Arthur Andersen & Co.
