Home mortgage lenders reach highs - 2004-03-08
Dean Sunkes opened the Clifton Park office of 1st Priority Mortgage in June 2002. During 2003, the company accumulated more than $74.5 million in loans.

This was enough to make 1st Priority the 17th largest residential mortgage lender in the Capital Region last year.

Canada Housing Starts Beat Forecasts in February - 2004-03-08
Canadian housing starts climbed about 9.5 percent in February, recovering from the previous month, as low interest rates helped create new construction, Canada Mortgage and Housing Corp. said on Monday.

A solid job market coupled with healthy consumer confidence helped lift starts to a seasonally adjusted annual rate of 214,100 units from an unrevised 195,500 units in January.
