As interest rates lurch more and more, the home-refinancing craze has passed, as reported in a monthly consumer poll.

The majority of U.S. mortgages can be promptly refinanced when interest rates are at a minimal rate, freeing up sizable amounts of money that would otherwise have been focused on interest payments.
