MGIC Q2 net rises - 2004-07-14
Mortgage insurer MGIC Investment Corp said Wednesday that its second quarter net income climbed, but revenues decreased more than 5 percent as a slowing mortgage market cut earned premiums.

MGIC Investment (MTG) reported second-quarter net income of $154.5 million, or $1.56 a share, up from $143.8 million, or $1.46 a share, or in the same period a year ago.
