Mortgage Applications Fall - 2004-07-14
The U.S. Mortgage Bankers Association said Wednesday its key measure of mortgage applications decreased 6.3 percent during the week ending July 9.

The group said its composite index of mortgage loan applications fell to 643.9 on a seasonally adjusted basis during the holiday-shortened week from 687.0 a week earlier.

Keyes allies with Wells Fargo for financing - 2004-07-14
Wells Fargo Home Mortgage, a subsidiary of Wells Fargo & Co. and The Keyes Co., located in Miami, said they have agreed to the terms for a joint venture to originate, process and fund mortgage loans for Keyes customers.

The companies said their joint venture will offer customers a range of home financing products and services through Wells Fargo Home Mortgage.
