Mortgage aid on way to city - 2004-07-14
Mortgage giant Fannie Mae is teaming up with Guaranty Bank in Milwaukee and Madison and four other cities on a $2 billion lending initiative aimed at increasing homeownership among minorities.

Andy Palec, deputy director of Fannie Mae's Wisconsin Partnership office, said Tuesday the initiative is aimed at tearing down many of the barriers to homeownership that exist in minority communities.
