Sales ease, prices up - 2004-08-28 While Solano County homes are the most affordable in the Bay Area, buyers are avoiding these homes that are not in top-notch condition - even those in the low $300,000 price range.

Take offense to avert foreclosure - 2004-08-28 Donna Smalls, a counselor for The Housing Partnership, recalls how a client almost lost her home this year.
The client's work hours were cut, reducing her income. She fell four months behind on her mortgage payments.
