U.S. Dollar Rises on Speculation Fed May Raise Interest Rates Faster - 2005-03-27
The U.S. dollar climbed against the euro and the yen in Asia on speculation the Federal Reserve will raise interest rates at a faster pace to contain inflation.

Against the euro, the dollar traded at $1.2928 at 10:14 a.m. in Tokyo from $1.2955 late on March 25 in New York, according to electronic currency dealing system EBS.
