Economist: Florida real estate market has slowed - 2005-03-31
An Orlando economic consultant said the peak of Florida's most recent real estate boom happend in late spring, early summer 2004. Since then, Hank Fishkind said, home sales have declined slowly in nearly every part of the state.

"What we're seeing now is a leveling off of what has been a huge run for home sales in Florida," the consultant said.
