Snow: China move won't hurt U.S. economy - 2006-01-10
China's plan to diversify its large foreign exchange reserves away from the U.S. dollar won't affect the U.S. economy, Treasury Secretary John Snow declared Tuesday. Chinese diversification won't hurt foreign investment in the United States because its capital markets are substantial and the most liquid in the world, Snow said.

2006 will bring cooling sales in real estate - 2006-01-10
In its forecast for 2006, the National Association of Realtors trade group states that the major theme for the housing market is balance. The hot market is expected to return to a more normal rate of price growth. Despite the slowdown, real estate sales will still be historically strong.
