Concerns grow for US economy - 2006-01-12
Warnings the United States may be sailing into economic rocks are beginning to come in rapidly. The latest person to join this camp is Raghuram Rajan, the top economist at the International Monetary Fund. In declarations posted on the IMF's website, Rajan highlights that America is running a current account deficit of 6.25% of national wealth, or 1.5% of the total output of the world.
