Economists predict real estate market around U.S. will cool in 2006 - 2006-01-16

Five of the nation's top housing economists recently discussed the outlook for the housing and mortgage finance markets for 2006. Their consensus is that conditions will still be favorable for the housing sector in 2006, with another busy year expected. Activity is expected to slow.

Choice is a result of of capitalism. With so many options available, Americans have become besieged by so many choices that leave many feeling paralyzed and confused. Not long ago, the bulk of home loans and refinance mortgage loans were 30-year fixed-rate mortgages. We only concnetrated on finding one with the cheapest rate. The options today range from hybrid adjustable-rate mortgages to piggyback loans. Borrowers also have a big varietyof lenders to pick from.
