Mortgage lender Countrywide buys building in Fort Worth - 2006-01-16
Countrywide Financial Corp., is maintaining its expansion plan across the Metroplex. It has acquired a Fort Worth office building to accommodate 1,500 additional jobs.
Due in part to profits made from the huge refinance wave in the mortgage market in 2003, they continued to invest in the mortgage business to expand their market share despite overall declines in the business.
