AG cracks down on mortgage ads - 2006-10-19
The Colorado attorney general's office will subpoena a minimum of 10 area mortgage brokers and companies over the next few weeks in an investigation of possibly false advertising practices, a prosecutor in the office declared. The office is focusing on mortgage providers that advertise low teaser interest rates, highlight minimum-loan-payment plans and use confusing terms to describe their loans, declared Jan Zavislan, deputy attorney general for consumer protection.

Celebrities try to make a name in real estate - 2006-10-19
You've seen them in films, professional sports, celebrity magazines and television shows. Actor George Clooney, Michael Jordan and Donald Trump have lent their names and fame to market residential real estate projects. In some arrangments, celebrities receive money from developers who use their name and status for advertising purposes. In other cases, the celebrities are financially involved in the projects and could have some design input.
