Money stash fuels real estate - 2006-02-10
The Valley's commercial real estate market is expected to surge ahead this year despite higher land and construction costs. Lower vacancy rates and more expensive rents seen in 2005 will continue this year, predicted CB Richard Ellis, a real estate services firm, which released its annual forecast Thursday to clients.

Consumers Gain Confidence in Economy - 2006-02-10
Consumers' confidence in the economy and their own financial fortunes surged to a 16-month high as better prospects for jobs and wages boosted people's spirits. The confidence revival also was aided by mild winter weather which meant that home heating bills weren't almost as bad as many thought they would be, analysts said.
