Bush advisers say US economy enters sustained expansion - 2006-02-14
US economic growth will be healthy for several years and inflation will stay under control, fueling an expansion that will keep unemployment low and drawing foreign investment to the world’s largest economy, White House aides said. Bush is promoting the strengths of the economy this year, declaring his policies such as tax cuts have added to the country’s gross domestic product.

Bush Report: Housing Will Slow Gradually - 2006-02-14
The highflying housing market should make a safe landing by slowly losing altitude, the White House suggested Monday in its annual economic report to Congress. At the same time, the report revealed, the economy is near full employment and inflation should ease off this year. Even with a housing slowdown, the economy is expected to experience respectable growth this year.
