US economy to grow 3.5 pct this yr - 2006-03-06
The US economy is likely to expand by 3.5 pct this year amid prospects for more growth in the world economy, said Glenn Hubbard, Dean of Columbia Business School and former White House economic advisor. The estimates for maximum sustainable growth in the US this year is between 2.5 to 4.0 pct.
