Fed: Fla. housing sector to slow regional economy - 2007-01-04
The Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta declared Thursday that it expects moderate economic growth for the United States and the Southeast region for the new year, with the impact of Florida's housing market being a huge factor. In its outlook for the economy in 2007, the Atlanta Fed said the housing sector will be a drag on economic strength this year, and energy price developments will be a source of uncertainty for the national and regional economic outlook.

Two Real Estate Agents Charged in High End Prostitution - 2007-01-04
Two Gwinnett County women were arrested Wednesday for what police regarded as "high end prostitution."
Investigators revealed that the women were real estate agents by day and prostitutes by night, operating from one of Gwinnett County's most affluent areas. The two women, 42-year-old Lisa Taylor and 30-year-old Nicole Probert, were charged with prostitution, racketeering and conspiracy to possess cocaine.
