Housing industry slump expected to slow economy in 2007 - 2007-02-26 Held back by a a worse-than-expected slump in housing, the economy will expand at the slowest pace in five years in 2007, leading economic forecasters declare. They predict that consumers will get a break on inflation from lower energy prices. The survey of 47 top forecasters, released today by the National Association for Business Economics, found a greater expected impact from the struggling housing market this year than did the previous forecast in November. At 85, real estate agent shows no signs of slowing down - 2007-02-26 Myron Mathison built diesel engines, had a clothing store, was president of the Delavan Chamber of Commerce and the Rotary Club and was one of five senior citizens honored by the Walworth County Fair in 2004. At an age when most people are settled in retirement, Mathison 85, of Elkhorn, isn't slowing down. Mathison is now re-establishing himself as a real estate broker at Rosseland Realty, Fontana.
