Subprime mortgage woes keep home builders glum in March - 2007-03-19
Worsening problems in the subprime mortgage sector, which makes the riskiest home loans, dragged down U.S. home builder confidence in March, the National Association of Home Builders declared Monday. The NAHB/Wells Fargo Housing Market index decreased three points in March to 36 from a downwardly revised 39 a month earlier, the group revealed.
